Oi Dramz - Skinhead (+ Bonus), Edition 2026, LP
Legally available on vinyl for the first time in 32 years! The official Oi Dramz “Skinhead” reissue on the original label Rock-O-Rama Records – no bootlegs, no “private editions” and no “imported fan editions” from dubious scene hustlers with pseudo “band licenses” at exorbitant prices!
Sometimes a reissue doesn't feel like nostalgia, but like a necessary jolt into the present. This record falls squarely into that category. Here, two camps that have shared the same target audience for decades collide: uncompromising Oi spirit and the rough edge of North German skinhead rock. The result is not a smooth-polished retort, but honest sound with patina.
This vinyl is a project by musicians from Oi Dramz (Olaf) and Freikorps (Kai). If you like Oi Dramz, you can buy this without hesitation. If you like Freikorps, you'll be adding this LP to your shopping cart anyway. In addition to all 11 songs from the original CD release, the record includes three bonus tracks from the compilation “Norddeutscher Sampler, Vol. 1,” which has been unavailable for ages. The bonus tracks were recorded in 1992 along with Oi Dramz's first LP (“Same”). Namely, they are “Freiheit für Norddeutschland,” “Skinhead,” and “Wikinger.” The fact that these three ‘lost’ recordings are now officially available again is a little “icing on the cake” and a thank you to all the dedicated collectors and loyal scene enthusiasts.
The bottom line is that this LP is a must-have for old hands and a good introduction for younger people who want to know how North German skinhead rock in the first half of the 1990s affected the fan community thirsting for German lyrics.
Strictly limited to 499 units, hand-numbered, completely restored cover and back cover design, digitally remastered (vinyl mastering), available exclusively on black 12-inch vinyl (proven, robust, best sound). 14 songs with a playing time of just under 41 minutes at a fair price—the only thing cheaper is socialism...
