Holsteiner Jungs, Eine Prise Terror, LP

The official Holsteiner Jungs “Eine Prise Terror” reissue. No bootleg, no “private pressing,” and no “imported fan edition” from shady scene hustlers at Bitcoin prices.

Anyone who prefers German Oi!/street rock from around the turn of the millennium should take note of this name. Rock-O-Rama Records is bringing back “Eine Prise Terror,” an album by the Holsteiner Jungs from the year 2000. Until now, “Eine Prise Terror” was only available on CD. Rock-O-Rama Records is now officially releasing the album on LP for the first time. For vinyl collectors who love these North German street rock ’n’ rollers, this is sure to be a hit.

Behind the band name are Kai S. on vocals and guitar, Klappi on bass, and Frank on drums. The three recorded the album in January/February 2000 at Rebel Rock Studios in Lübeck. The song titles alone make it clear where this is headed. “Einfacher Mann,” “Ich bin kein Sklave,” “Weg in die Freiheit,” “Ganz der Alte,” and “Gerechtigkeit” tackle themes that have always held a firm place in Oi!/street rock. Attitude, self-assertion, and a reflection on one’s own life—combined with raw language—form the framework of these recordings.

This reissue appeals both to longtime fans of the Holsteiner Jungs and to vinyl enthusiasts who want to add a piece of German LP history to their collection. As an act of cultural preservation, Rock-O-Rama Records is ensuring that this record can once again take its place on the shelf.

Strictly limited to 499 copies, hand-numbered, digitally remastered (vinyl mastering), with a completely revamped and redesigned cover, 11 tracks, available exclusively on black 12-inch vinyl (tried-and-true, durable, best sound quality).
