Some records are more than just sound carriers—they are historical documents. “Hundsgemeine Maenner” by Störkraft falls squarely into this category. This record is not a nostalgic gimmick; it is a piece of German resistance history preserved in blue vinyl.
This special edition is finally available again: this time, the compilation, which has been sold out on vinyl for years, is released entirely in blue (after the red and green versions). Visually alone, it is a statement for collectors – but its content is even more significant. It includes all the legal, unobjectionable tracks from the first two studio albums, as well as four of the strongest tracks from the third studio album “Wir sind wieder da!” (We're back!). Two songs have been replaced compared to the first two editions. Added to this are “Bier, Wein, Weiber und Gesang” (Beer, Wine, Women and Song) and a song that could no longer be released since the wave of repression against the Düsseldorf boys began in the first half of the 1990s. Let yourself be surprised! :)
From a music history perspective, this LP encapsulates a phase of German-language RAC that polarized opinion and ultimately led to massive persecution. Regardless of all the debates, one thing remains clear: the lyrics of the songs reflect a scene, attitude, and dynamic that remain unforgettable and were groundbreaking.
Once this edition is sold out, this record will no longer be available in this form. Anyone who missed out on the original pressings or would like to add an official “Best of” vinyl record by Störkraft to their collection should not hesitate this time.
Strictly limited to 499 units, hand-numbered, digitally remastered (vinyl mastering), available exclusively on blue 12-inch vinyl.
