The official Ian Stuart and Rough Justice “Justice for the Cottbus Six” re-release, for the first time since 1992 on regular Rock-O-Rama Records vinyl! No bootleg pressing, no “private edition”, no “imported fan edition” of dubious scene tuners at brothel prices and also no record with a fraudulently legalizing pseudo “band license”.
Fun fact on the side: The original LP cover from 1991 was supposed to be a color photo of Ian Stuart posing with three of his friends standing behind him, all dressed in black, including balaclavas, but Herbert Egoldt rejected the idea as “too subversive”. Incidentally, the “Cottbusser Sechs” had already returned to England when “Justice for ...” (1992) was released on Rock-O-Rama Records. Ian Stuart had previously recorded all the instruments and written the lyrics.
In addition to the six songs on the mini-CD / mini-LP of the time, the album contains 4 more songs as a treat on top: two songs from the first Skrewdriver LP on ROR (H.t.n.d. from 1984) and from the third Skrewdriver LP (W.R. from 1987). Namely “Justice” plus “If there is a riot” as well as “Behind the bars” and “I can see the fire”. The record in this version was actually supposed to be released in 2022, but has unfortunately only now made it to the “light of day”, as other re-releases had priority.
10 songs with a playing time of almost 26 minutes. Strictly limited to 499 units, hand-numbered, digitally remastered (vinyl mastering), black 12 inch vinyl.
