    Full throttle! Here comes a real street dog among the Oi! records back into the light of day: “The Boots Go Marching In” by Condemned 84 - a re-release that should not only make collectors' hearts beat faster, but is also right up there in terms of content. The patriotic Oi! legend from the island delivers 13 uncompromising songs that provide the soundtrack to the streets, rebellion and pride in one's own identity.

    The LP is a true contemporary document: a wild snapshot of the British working class spirit of the 80s, set to music with boots on asphalt, cold beer and rage in the belly. The material on this compilation originally comes from three hard-to-find releases:

          --> "In Search of the New Breed" (EP, 1987)
          4 songs full of brute guitars and irrefutable points of view.

          --> Oi! Ain't Dead" (EP, 1986)
          4 songs that not only celebrate the genre, but define it.

          --> "The Original Tapes" (MC, 1984)
          5 uncut diamonds from the band's early phase.

    Every track is a punch in the gut. No frippery, no posturing, no hopping - just honest, British Oi! The lyrics are direct, the riffs like rusty razor blades. No room for wimps, warmists or scene tourists.

    This record is a must. If you don't know Condemned 84, you don't understand Oi! Anyone who knows them knows why these songs should not be missing from any collection. They offer a “colorful” bouquet of street hits that will make your ears ring. No compromises, no mainstream droning or artificial colorants, just pride and anger :)
