OHL, the pioneers of “hardcore punk”, attracted maximum attention with their debut album “Heimatfront” in 1981, which was partly due to their polarizing lyrics. Titles such as “Deutschland”, “Kernkraftritter”, “Wir sind die Unreparierten” or “Botschaftslied”, which openly called for the storming of the American embassy, did the rest, lashing out in all ideological directions. However, this met with little approval from both left-wing and right-wing hotheads. When the record was made in the early 1980s, punks were already aligned with the left-wing political spectrum, while skinheads were committed to the right. Although the band was considered “Nazis” by left-wingers and “ticks” by right-wingers, the Supreme Army Command, or rather their mastermind Deutscher W, never allowed themselves to be dissuaded from their chosen path - always straight ahead, never turn off! Ok, - nowadays certain concessions are necessary to get a foot on the ground in the left-green filthy culture business, but what does it matter to the enterprising record collector who wants to complete his personal vinyl oeuvre with this repress?

“Heimatfront” is a raw and unpolished milestone from Rock-O-Rama Records that captures and exudes the spirit of punk rock rebellion. As soon as the needle touches the vinyl, 14 battle cries against conformity and conformity ring out to shake it to its foundations. From a retrospective perspective, it becomes clear that “Heimatfront” is not just an album, but a manifesto of rebellion and perseverance. It is a reminder of how alive punk was - and that there are still committed people out there fighting for change!

14 songs with a playing time of just over 32 minutes. Faithful repress of the cult album released in August 1981 by the Leverkusen punk band around singer and mastermind Deutscher W. Digitally remastered (vinyl mastering), incl. lyric sheet, limit 499 copies. NO numbering! Rating: Contemporary historical value! For those who don't like it: Middle finger straighten up!
