Officially available on vinyl for the first time in 35 years (1989)! Official and only legal Klansmen re-release, no pirate pressing, no “private edition” and no “imported fan edition” of dubious scene tuners at brothel prices!
Is it Christmas yet? Not yet, but the white Christmas is casting its shadow ahead. This is part 1 of the Klansmen trilogy. As you know, Klansmen was a studio project consisting of Ian Stuart Donaldson (Skrewdriver) and other well-known musicians from the subcultural English music scene. For legal reasons, no specific names are mentioned here, but anyone with a little knowledge of the music scene at the time will know that at least one person from a well-known psycho-billy band was involved.
Klansmen offer brisk southern rock'n'roll / country rock, enriched with Dixie parts and the genre-typical lyrics that are still likely to get the usual outrage-mongers up in arms. But let's not paint a bleak picture.
Strictly limited to 499 units, hand-numbered, digitally remastered (vinyl mastering), only available in black 12 inch vinyl. 15 songs (incl. 2 bonus tracks) with approx. 36 minutes playing time.
