The official Kahlkopf “Der Metzger” re-release! No bootleg pressing, no “private edition” and no “imported fan edition” from dubious scene tuners at brothel prices!
In 1987, the band Kahlkopf released their debut album “Der Metzger” on Rock-O-Rama Records. The song of the same name quickly became one of the band's best-known and most controversial songs. With its vivid metaphors and often aggressive lyrics, “Der Metzger” became a striking battle cry. The controversial content of the song addressed left-wing violence, criticism of Germany's policy on foreigners and partying and drinking - topics that Kahlkopf had already dealt with on their first demo tapes. Thanks to the release on Rock-O-Rama, the Bad Homburgers' LP was widely distributed.
Strictly limited to 499 units, hand-numbered, digitally remastered (vinyl mastering), available exclusively on gold-colored 12-inch vinyl. 12 songs with almost 33 minutes playing time.
