Officially on vinyl for the first time! It's been a long time: in 1992, when comedians were still called Blödelbarden or Ulknudeln, Werwolf's third album “Ewige Narben” saw the light of day as a CD on Herbert Egoldt's Rock-O-Rama Records.
We got and still get to hear brisk and brute skinhead rock of the medium-fast variety, without the usual hatecore or metal influences of today. At the same time, the “Ewige Narben” album, after “Vereint” in 1990 and “Schlachtruf” in 1991, marked the end of the East Westphalian band's musical activities. According to Wikipedia “... (the band) disbanded in 1993 after the then bassist's house was searched and 6.8 kilograms of explosives were found alongside propaganda material. He was subsequently sentenced to prison”.
Strictly limited to 499 units, hand-numbered, digitally remastered (vinyl mastering), with lyric sheet, only available in black 12 inch vinyl. 11 songs with almost 40 minutes playing time. Two songs had to be minimally edited lyrically. One song is now available as a karaoke version for singing along :) Thanks to the digital vinyl mastering, it was possible to improve on the original recording of the first edition, which sounded rather dull at the time. The vocals and instruments are more dynamic and can be heard much more clearly (listen to the audio sample on Telegram!).
